Ahhhh!! My hormones are raging this weekend. That means that my pretty little face is all sorts of broken out. *sob* What's the best acne treatment you guys know of? I don't want anything too harsh that will dry out my skin. My skin is already pretty dry thanks to winter. (It really is a stupid season.) Homemade recipes or store-bought works for me. Opinions go!
Universal self-esteem issues
I was reading an article about eating disorders in Japan and I found it pretty interesting. Japanese people tend to have slimmer body types so I didn't realize that they had diet pill ads like we do in the US. (I wonder if they have clinislim review websites too or are their diet ads all in print?) It must be very difficult to weigh so little yet think you are so fat. Granted, there are skinny little things in the US that think they are huge too. I just didn't know how universal that feeling is.
Favorite Friday
Here's a video from someone in Philadelphia taken after the second snowstorm rolled through. It's crazy.
Go away winter!
Yet another hard day of shoveling snow. Between yesterday and today, we got approximately twenty inches of snow. This is on top of the eighteen inches we got earlier in the week. So, yeah, we're talking about three feet of snow total. The drifts are taller than my 8-year old daughter. At least I know I won't need any diet supplements! Shoveling all that white stuff should burn up quite a few calories!
Oh no! Old age?
I know I get paranoid about growing old. Even though I have quite a few years before I reach "old age," I freak out just a little every time I see a new spot on my skin. Is it a freckle? Is it an old age spot? EEK! I wonder if there's some sort of age spot removal cream or something I could use now to keep spots at bay. I don't want to look like a little old lady!

Video Post!
I am so lame. I made a video review. This is the first video I've ever made. I'm thinking about maybe doing a weekly thing, but I'm not sure what I would talk about. (There are only so many electronic cigarette things I can try.) I suppose I could elaborate more on the drama or tv reviews. Would you guys be interested in seeing more videos from me?

Too much snow!
As I said the other day, we got almost two feet of snow over the weekend. We're expected to get at least another foot tomorrow. Then, I think, we're forcasted for more snow next Monday. Is this a sign of the apocalypse? Should I start shopping for online life insurance right now? This much snow can't possibly be a good thing. For anyone.
TV review: Demons

Luke Rutherford (Christian Cook) is the last of the Van Helsing men. According to Rupert Galvin (Philip Glenister), it is now his job to hunt down demons known as "half lives" and smite them. With help from Galvin, Mina Harker (Zoe Tapper), and his best friend Ruby (Holliday Grainger), he faces vampires, harpies, demons, and more.
The show started off slow, which isn't promising considering how little time the writers have to get the story out and wrap it up. There were a few really good episodes in there. I think "Smitten" was my favorite. However, the writers spent a lot of time building up to something spectacular for Luke, only to end it without giving it to us. Instead, they give us a bit of a cliff-hanger. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that there will not be a second season so we will never get the resolution to the climax. That would be why I can't really recommend it to anyone. It just doesn't go anywhere.
On the good side, both Christian Cook and Holliday Grainger gave some good performances. I hope to see more excellent work from them in the future.
Ack! Snow!
There was a huge snowstorm Friday night into Saturday. In my area, we got somewhere around 18 inches of the stuff. I hate the snow, especially shoveling. Who needs weight loss pills when you're trying to dig your car out of a 2 foot snowbank? I really need to move somewhere with less....winter. Someplace warm and completely snowless. Well, there can be a little bit of snow, but not a lot.
