Now it's hot!

Yesterday, it was just exhaustion. Today, it is extreme heat. We're supposed to get into the 100s. I believe the weatherlady said 102 this morning. Thankfully, the air conditioning at work was fixed so it is cool in here. Unfortunately, I need to go out at lunch so I'll have to wade my way through the mugginess. At least it'll be more interesting than sitting around reading supplement reviews all day, right? C'mon, give me one bright spot for today!

So tired...

I am exhausted. Of course, this is usual for a workday after a three day weekend. I always end up staying up way too late then I can't sleep the night before work. I need a caffeine supplement! (Dear search engines: No, hgh supplements are not the same as caffeine tablets....as a matter of fact, they are very different so stfu. Thanks.) I won't be accomplishing a whole lot today. However, the new seasons of Eureka and Warehouse 13 are coming up soon. Keep an eye out for them! They are awesome!

Happy almost-4th of July!

My family went to see some fireworks tonight. First, we went miniature golfing. My husband claims he didn't total the scores, which means I probably beat him ^_^ Then we had some ice cream while we waited for the fireworks to begin. This year was much more spectacular than last year. Tomorrow we have a picnic at my aunt's house. With all this terrible holiday food, I'm going to need a colon cleanse or something! Ewww!

Xbox 360 slim

My husband picked up the new Xbox 360 yesterday. I haven't had the chance to play any games on it yet, but we did watch a few comedy specials via Netflix. With any luck, we'll be able to play Rock Band 2 on it tonight. I believe all of our files have been converted over. I also bought the 90s version of Lips and a movie trivia game. We're planning on playing those this weekend during my family's Fourth of July picnic. I'll try to post some sort of review on it at some point.

Weighing myself

Lately, I've been looking at scales. While I'm not a big fan of weighing myself (it's not an accurate representation of fitness), I feel like I should be keeping track of my weight. Currently, I don't own a scale. I haven't owned one for well over a decade. I suppose I don't need anything fancy, but it would be nice if it wasn't awful. Something cool would be nice. Any suggestions?

Horsey dreams

One of my life dreams is to own a farm where I have enough room to have horses. I've wanted horses for almost my entire life. With any luck, my husband and I will be able to make this dream come true in a few years. I've been spending quite a bit of time looking at horse tack - saddles and bridles and whatnot. Then my thoughts turned toward storage. I think I'd like a set-up similar to the one at the farm I used to take riding lessons at. But I guess that would depend on how our barn is set up. I don't want to wait any more!
