We ended up getting about three inches of snow last night. As a result, my daughter's school is on a two-hour delay. Luckily, my work is opening late as well. That gave me time to sweep the powdery snow from the sidewalk. Isn't it spring yet? For now, I'll poke around the internet...read some epistane reviews and maybe watch some YouTube videos. I have nine episodes left of my current jdorama but it will take me a lot longer to get through that. My lunch breaks have been spent getting prepared for my Zumba training. Only a few more days!
This is a test.
I uploaded an app that will let me post from my phone. This is the official test for it. The photo is my current wallpaper on my phone.
Sailor Moon forever!

A busy week ahead of me
I had a rather busy weekend. My mother and I got certified for CPR and First Aid. We were there from 8:30AM until about 3:00PM. It was a very long class but now we are both certified in CPR for Adults, Children, and Infants. We're also certified in First Aid. So if someone breaks a leg, I can get them fixed up enough for the ambulance to cart them off. We also attended a fitness expo so I could take a look at some other types of group fitness class. My Zumba instructor training is this Thursday and I'd like to add a few more things to my repertoire. I picked up a card for a free week-long membership to one of the local gyms. My plan is to try a few of their group fitness classes to see if they are as good as they looked during the demonstrations.
And I finally dyed my hair last night. Since my hair is so short now, the grey is totally noticeable. I've been putting off dying it for weeks. With my bad luck, I'll need hair loss treatments from dying it too much! That's why I leave so much time in between dye jobs. I hope this color will stay in for a long time.

I have been so busy this week that I haven't had anything to talk about! It took me two days just to finish one jdorama episode! For now, you'll just have to be awe-inspired by this girl's talent:
JDorama review: Boss

I heard amazing things about this show. Knowing how hardcore fans can get rabid about "awesome" shows, I can reluctant to watch it myself. I'm sorry I waited so long!
The show mostly revolves around Osawa. It flips a little between her personal life and her extraordinary detective skills. I'm happy that they didn't delve too far into either arena. The show would have sucked if it was based on "You can't get a husband." On the other hand, I think it would have been too dry if it focused solely on the detective work. It was a great balance between the two.
I'm not going to go into each of her subordinates individually because that would take way too long. I enjoyed seeing the transformation of Kimoto Mami (Toda) from a stand-offish loner into an actual part of a team. Since there is a second season on the way, I hope to find out a little more about Iwai (Kendo) and Yamamura (Nukumizu). They were great secondary characters but they seemed to get tossed out to make room for everyone else. I'd like to see them make their own transformations.
This is most definitely a must see. Don't wait!

Lady Gaga's new song, "Born This Way," debuted today. I love it!
The Cape: Goggles and Hicks

During his last battle, Vince managed to break some ribs. Max wants him to take the day off to rest. Unfortunately, heroes don't always get a day off.
Vince tries to spend the day watching his son, Trip. Halfway through the day, He (and Orwell) gets attacked by Goggles and Hicks, a pair of assassins hired by Fleming to get rid of The Cape. Of course, Orwell and The Cape defeat the dastardly duo.
Meanwhile, Trip manages to make a new friend....even though the friend is a little on the weird side.
I found this episode to be fairly boring. Nothing new was revealed other than the fact that there are more members of Tarot. (um, duh.) I suppose Trip's new friend could be interesting. It'll definitely be better than his mom hounding him all the time about stuff.
I'm ready for the show to be better now....
An ice-covered weekend
This was yet another ice-covered weekend. It was so bad that everything was canceled. No Zumba for me, no swim class for my daughter. I should have accomplished something in the down time. Instead, all we did was nap, play video games and watch way too much Toddlers & Tiaras. That show is awful. I should stop watching it. Currently, I am halfway through Boss. I should have it finished by next week. I might need to start asking for recommendations!
Baby Talk
Some of my co-workers were talking about babies today. Either family members having babies or recently born babies. Of course, that made me bring up the Bob Revolution SE, which is this mega stroller that I kinda wanted when my daughter was an infant. However, it is extremely expensive. I can't imagine anyone actually being able to afford to buy one. But it's still really nice.

One of my co-workers badly burned a bag of popcorn at lunch. It was bad enough that the police and firemen showed up. Unfortunately, I was sitting in the kitchen at the time so I got the full blast of Burned Popcorn Reek. I was going to post a video of some great flowers in Chicago to try to forget the smell. (Hey, I can pretend that I can smell the flowers!) Then I got sidetracked by this awesomely cute bunny eating a dandelion. I think the cute just killed me.
